Support us

The reality of our challenge

  • It’s tough. We compete for donations from a starting point of a lot less resources.

  • Small but run a mighty 4000 rides a year from a very modest sea-container home.

  • No running water, heating or toilet at our base. Funds really are tight and go into rides.

  • High wear on trikes due to back-to-back rides.

  • Staff and volunteers juggle fundraising alongside operational ride duties.

  • Just 3 part-time staff, sessional mechanic and crew of 44 Volunteer Cycle-Pilots.

  • People we support are already marginalised, most are unable to fundraise / donate as a result.

  • We’ve the Charity MBE Award [nationally competitive] a great endorsement but it’s not running costs…. so we need your support.

Why it matters

  • 1 in 20 people in Brighton live with a disability.

  • 82% our participants have no other outdoor activity.

  • Our rides promote health, independence, equality and community inclusion, combatting isolation, marginalisation and sedentary living.

The great news? You can help keep 4000 life-transformative rides a year going…

The power of movement outdoors expands worlds, improves health and dramatically enhances quality-of-life.

This where your community spirit and goodwill comes in!

With your help we can:

  • Maintain and replace our equipment including the fleet of trikes.

  • Train more carers and volunteers

  • Ensure year-round accessible rides for those who need them most.

Funding Needs

Your support will help us sustain this vital service…

  • £40: Funds a ride for someone in need.

  • £50: Trains a carer to pilot a specialist trike.

  • £150: Provides dementia & disability training for a volunteer.

  • £500: Replaces essential trike parts.

  • £1,500: Sponsors a trike for a year (maintenance).

  • £13000: Sponsors a whole new replacement trike. We urgently need to replace 5 of our aging trike fleet in 2026 and 2027. Company donations are tax-exempt - see company sponsor section below! So a new trike donation is closer to £8000 in actual cost to a company donating!

How to help

  • Give monthly or a one-off: Use red ‘donate’ button on any of our web pages

  • Work fundraiser: Nominate us as your charity of the year

    Company giving

  • Your gift could be major community news if you want it to be! Our brilliantly engaged social media audience would love to hear about your gift.

  • Tax exempt - so the actual company cost is up to 40% less than the amount the charity gets!

  • Gifts over £5000 can have a special 4-seater tandem ride for your staff. A unique team reward, while seeing the benefits first-hand.

  • If you sponsor a whole new repalcement trike not only will you be even more popular but you get:

    • To name the trike

    • Company logo on it for 4 years (trikes last 4-6 years with us)

    • Trike-naming photo-call and celebration [ribbon cutting and cake…]

    • £13000 sponsors a whole new replacement trike. Tax-exempt approx £8000 in actual company cost. Over 4 years of the trike’s minimum service-life that’s £2000 per year. You get PR for 4 years across the community, every ride out. The donation needs to be upfront so we can purchase the trike.

      THANK YOU
